(OLNEY) Mark your calendars for this coming Thursday evening, December 6, as the Richland County Firefighters will conduct their 30th Annual Food Drive to help out those in need at this time of the year. The Firefighters will go door-to-door to pick up the non-perishable food items starting at 6:00 in Dundas, Calhoun, and Parkersburg with those wanting to take part asked to leave their food items in a bag on their front porch with their porch light on. Food can also be dropped off at several locations for those outside the collection areas or for those that will not be at home this Thursday night : at Noble Foods, the Wakefield Mill, the TNT Stop in Claremont, and the Olney Fire Department. While last year’s collection was less than previous years, we urge everyone to help out with a donation this year. All collected food will be distributed to those in need in Richland County.
